A new wine bar serving light meals (pastas and salads) has opened in Monti just off the Roman Forum. There is a great lunch menu: 7 euros for a glass of wine, one of the day’s specials, water and coffee. They also sell bottles of wine to-go as well as an array of typical products from Italy’s wine producing regions, particularly Piedmont. There is a happy hour buffet starting at 7pm for 7 euros. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the ambiance is sunny and casual.
